Mr. Food No-Fuss Meals
Apr 30th, 2009

If you need help getting dinner on the table or want to spice up your menu check out Mr. Food No-Fuss Meals. I recently visited the location on Sheridan Drive in the Northtown Plaza for the first time with my daughter. While she watched Clifford in the kids room I found out how this meal prep kitchen works and assembled Fiesta Pork and Yellow Rice Bake for dinner.

Everything is well planned out. There are lockers, aprons, a hand washing station and the kids room is equipped with art supplies, television with DVD player and a window so you can see your child and they can see you.

After washing my hands at the hand washing station I went to the station set up with all the ingredients for my meal. There were written instructions at the station as well as latex gloves for me to wear. There were about 4 steps to assemble the meal I chose. It was super easy! No meat to cut and cook, rice to cook and season, etc. Mr. Food No-Fuss Meals has all of the meat cut, sauces prepared, and vegetables washed and cut for the meals you want to make. There is a separate station set-up for each meal. You assemble one meal in a provided container, put it in the refrigerator and move on to the next station. I checked out the other stations and saw what the other people were making and it looked just as easy.

There is a new menu every month with options such as Kid-Approved, Lower Carb and Cooks from Frozen. The motto at Mr. Food No-Fuss Meals is "Home cooking without the hassle" and it's true! It was great to take dinner out of the refrigerator and put it into the oven. Cleanup was easy too with only one disposable pan. The cost is less than eating out at a restaurant and less than take out. My family and I enjoyed our meal, there were no leftovers. Thanks Mr. Food for making dinner so easy!
